Shrewsbury, Bouth and home

After Liverpool we met two of our kids in Chester then travelled with then to Shrewsbury for two nights, this is where HaNa lives, before setting off back to home via Bouth in the Lake District.

Chester zoo was originally where we planned to meet, but at +£40 per head it was just too expensive to consider. It’s twice the price of Edinburgh zoo! Anyway, we meet in Chester for a walk round the city and lunch before heading to Shrewsbury and dinner. Great to be with James and HaNa together with their partners Raluca and Nick.

The second day was spent with HaNa and Nick, James and Raluca live in Worcester. However as James is a lawyer working in Telford he joined us for dinner.

Yesterday it was goodbye midlands as we head north, calling in at Ulverstone to collect some family memorabilia, more about that in another post. We laid flowers on my mother’s grave in Barrow, my home town, and headed to Bouth to the White Heart Inn.
