Following on from my last post we, Fiona and I, went away to Peebles for the weekend.
More for a change of scenery than anything else. It rained every day and was quite cold, still we managed a couple of walks along the banks of the river Tweed.
Despite the weather we saw Grebes, greater crested and little, Kingfishers, Dipper on the river. The Dipper I have never seen before.
I can no longer do lots of walking, chemo robs you of stamina. So a stroll along the river, camera in hand is brilliant.
I would like to return in spring to Peebles, warmer and hopefully drier weather and opportunities to take more photographs.
