This is what one would expect of an architect, the building design. Thomson embodied within the design of the building, both Greek and Roman temples. The top left photograph shows how he achieved this intergration of the Greek and Roman styles.

Given the age of the building, there are now some small signs of deterioration, and that is despite the best efforts of the NTS. However most of the building is in very good condition.

I personally felt Black and White is more in keeping with the age and atmosphere of Holmwood, so below you have a mixture of scanned medium format film images and Infra Red images.
